Who we are
theAlchemy.ai is operated by ALCHEMISTIC MIND LTD (“Alchemistic Mind”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 13997879, with its registered office at Garden Flat, 14 Northwood Road, London, Middlesex, N6 5TN, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for personal data processed through this website. You can reach us about anything in this notice by writing to the address above, by email at marie@alchemisticmind.com or on +44 7960 050084.
We are based in the United Kingdom, so the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 apply. Where we handle data about people in the European Economic Area, we also follow the EU GDPR.
What we collect
The site has no accounts, sign-up forms, advertising or analytics tools. We do not build profiles of visitors or sell data. In practice, the only personal data we receive is:
- Messages you send us by email, phone or WhatsApp using the contact links on the site.
- Technical request data (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) that is processed briefly by our hosting provider to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Anything you choose or type while exploring the site (your industry, buyer role, or the answer you give to the microphone prompt) stays in your browser and is not sent to us.
Voice and text input
On the homepage you can speak or type an answer to see how we would respond. Your answer is analysed by code running in your own browser; it is not uploaded to, stored by, or visible to us.
The microphone only switches on when you press Speak my answer, and your browser will ask your permission first. Voice-to-text is provided by your browser’s built-in speech recognition, not by us. Some browsers (for example Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge) send the audio to their own cloud speech service to turn it into text, under that company’s privacy policy. If you would prefer this not to happen, simply type your answer instead — it works exactly the same way.
Cookies and browser storage
We do not set any advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. To keep your chosen route consistent as you move between pages, the site saves a small amount of information in your browser’s own storage:

This information never leaves your device, is only used to provide the navigation you asked for, and does not identify you. You can remove it at any time by clearing your browser’s site data.
When you contact us
If you email, call or message us, we receive your name, contact details and whatever you choose to tell us. We use this only to reply to you, discuss potential work and, if we go on to work together, to manage that relationship. We will not add you to a mailing list without your consent.
Third parties
We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:
- Netlify, Inc. hosts this website, including all of its images and video, and processes request data (including IP addresses) to serve pages and keep the service secure. No images or scripts are loaded from other companies’ servers.
- Email and phone providers we use to receive and reply to your messages.
- Your browser vendor’s speech service, only if you choose to use voice input (see above).
Links to other websites, such as alchemisticmind.com or ren-patterns.com, are governed by those sites’ own privacy policies.
Legal basis
We rely on our legitimate interests in running a secure website and responding to enquiries, and on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract when you ask us about working together. Where we ever need your consent, we will ask for it clearly and you can withdraw it at any time.
Retention
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with it and for up to two years afterwards, unless it becomes part of a client relationship, in which case we keep records for as long as required for legal, tax and accounting purposes. Hosting request logs are kept by Netlify for a limited period in line with their own policy.
International transfers
Some of our providers, including Netlify, are based in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or the UK–US Data Bridge / EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Your rights
Under data protection law you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct or delete it;
- object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent where we rely on it.
To exercise any of these rights, email marie@alchemisticmind.com. We will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or to your local data protection authority if you are in the EEA — though we would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Children
This website is intended for business audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to this notice
If we change how the site handles data — for example by adding analytics or a contact form — we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
