The Alchemy method / built before it was sold

We built our
own proof.

Before theAlchemy became a methodology for understanding buyers, we used the same human-first thinking to build a behavioural product from scratch — then launched it, tested it with real people and built the commercial system around it.

01 / Start with the human problem

People can understand why they behave a certain way and still repeat the same pattern.

The challenge was not to give people another label. It was to help them see the connection between what happened before, what is happening now and the person they are becoming — in their own words, at their own pace.

That meant building for emotional barriers, not simply building a questionnaire.

Past / where it began

What did this response once protect?

Old adaptations can stay useful long after the original context has changed. The product needed to surface history without trapping the person inside it.

Present / where it runs

Where is the pattern operating now?

Not theory. The actual relationship, work decision, boundary, hesitation or behaviour that keeps producing a familiar feeling.

Future / where choice appears

What happens when the old rule stops running everything?

The future state is not fantasy. It is evidence of different choices, boundaries and behaviour beginning to emerge.

02 / The proprietary lens

Past. Present. Future.
One connected story.

We structured the experience around three time states so answers could be read in relationship to each other. Tap a lens to see the kind of question it is designed to open.

01
Past / Pattern holder

Where did this become useful?

Look backwards for context, learned roles, protections and the emotional logic that once made sense.

“What did you learn you had to be in order to feel safe, loved or accepted?”
Context without judgement
02
Present / Integrator

Where is it running now?

Bring the pattern into everyday behaviour: decisions, relationships, ambition, avoidance, accommodation and self-trust.

“Where are you still doing automatically what you no longer consciously choose?”
Recognition creates choice
03
Future / Sovereign

What are you practising instead?

Notice the future self through real behaviour — the risk taken, the boundary held, the room entered, the thing finally begun.

“What are you already doing differently that an older version of you might not have done?”
Becoming leaves evidence

01

Understand the emotional barrier

We began with the behaviour beneath the behaviour: protection, familiarity, self-trust, boundaries, identity and the rules people continue to carry forward.

Design implicationThe questions had to create enough safety for honesty without flattening the person into a score or diagnostic box.
02

Turn nuance into a repeatable system

Past, Present and Future became the architecture. The 27-question framework created enough structure for comparison while keeping the user’s own language central.

System implicationEvery answer needed to remain useful later — for pattern detection, reflection, messaging and continued experience design.
03

Build the product experience

We developed the journey, interaction language, results logic and visual environment around the model rather than treating the model as a PDF hidden behind a form.

Experience implicationThe interface had to feel quiet enough for reflection and alive enough to keep somebody moving through 27 questions.
04

Launch. Watch. Listen. Iterate.

We put Ren in people’s hands, listened to what they said helped them and adjusted the product and language around real behaviour rather than internal assumptions.

Evidence implicationUser language became part of the next design cycle. The proof did not sit at the end; it fed back into the system.
05

Build the commercial layer around the product

Once the product worked, we created the messaging, campaign routes, landing pages, social engine, proof, nurture and conversation layer from the same intelligence.

Commercial implicationInstead of forcing everybody through one generic funnel, the entry point changed according to the pressure that brought them in.
04 / Real people, not hypothetical personas

We launched it.
Then we listened.

We describe the evidence carefully. Ren is not a replacement for therapy and we do not present user reactions as clinical validation. It is designed to sit alongside reflection, coaching or therapy — helping people notice connections in the material they are already living with.

Users saidRen helped them see patterns and connections that felt difficult to hold together before.
Users saidThe Past / Present / Future lens made their own story easier to understand without feeling judged or put in a box.
Users saidThe insight could translate into action — including recognising where they needed to take risks or choose differently.

05 / Human proof, in their own voice

Don’t take
our word for it.

We wanted more than “people liked it.” We listened for what they could see afterwards that they could not see as clearly before. These are real Ren users speaking for themselves. Press play when you want the human evidence.

Real Ren user / video testimonial

Hear the experience directly.

No rewritten case-study voice. No invented persona. The user remains the evidence.

Real Ren user / video testimonial

What became visible?

Our question is not simply whether the interface was liked. It is what the person was able to recognise, connect or act on afterwards.

Founder-shot campaign footage

The campaign stayed human too.

Real movement, real moments and founder-shot footage became part of the acquisition system rather than replacing the product with generic wellness imagery.

What we listened for

Not applause. Evidence of recognition. What could they now see, name or connect that had been harder to hold together before?

06 / From one product to 32 doorways

One person does not arrive with the same problem as the next.

So we did not build one generic landing page and swap a headline. We created an interconnected network of routes around different pressures, each carrying the same underlying product truth into a different starting point.

Selected route

32 connected pages. One intelligence model underneath them.

Choose a route above to see how the opening pressure, campaign message and landing-page emphasis change without changing the core product.

07 / The interconnected social engine

We turned the same intelligence into the campaign system.

The social creative does not sit apart from the landing page. The hook, visual, proof, CTA and next step continue the same thought. Pick a campaign route and watch the journey change.

08 / Then we stopped making people fit our routes

We let them speak.

Structured journeys are useful until the person’s real question does not fit neatly inside one. So the experience evolved again: capture what they actually say, listen for the pressure underneath it, then respond from the intelligence already built around the product.

The principle is simple: do not make the person translate themselves into your system. Make the system understand the person.

The commercial reveal

Now apply the same thinking
to a B2B buying group.

Ren made the method easy to see because the differences between people are impossible to ignore. In B2B the differences are just as real, but they are hidden behind job titles, procurement processes and product language.

theAlchemy intelligence layer

The website is the surface.
This is what sits underneath.

Choose a buyer. The person, pressure, barrier, question, proof, message and route all change together. That is why the output can stay coherent across campaign, landing page, nurture and sales conversation.

09Back into intelligence
What that means commercially

Product, marketing and sales stop behaving like separate departments telling separate stories. The intelligence travels.

The point of the case study

We didn’t build 32 landing pages.
We built 32 ways into the same truth.

That is the transferable capability. theAlchemy takes one proposition and gives each person a route into it that begins with what they are actually trying to solve — while the intelligence underneath keeps the whole system connected.

So when we say connected system…

We do not make campaigns around products.
We build systems around how people decide.

Ren gave us a difficult environment in which to build and prove the method: deeply personal context, different emotional entry points, a product that had to earn trust, and a commercial journey that could not feel generic. theAlchemy takes that discipline into complex B2B buying journeys.

B2B / SilverScape × theAlchemy

Same method.
Different decision.

Ren shows what theAlchemy looks like when the person is the journey. SilverScape shows the same discipline inside a business: understand the buyer pressure, structure the evidence, then make the right proof easier to find and easier to use.

01 / The B2B problem

Case studies are only useful when the buyer can find the one that answers their question.

SilverScape had strong project evidence: cost savings, carbon reduction, faster shoots, less travel risk and more assets from a production day. But a buyer should not have to read every case study and work out which proof matters to them.

So the job was not “make the case studies prettier.” It was: structure the proof so it can move with the buyer.

What already existed

Strong evidence.

Real production cases with commercial, operational and sustainability outcomes.

What changed by buyer

The question.

One person wants cost proof. Another is worried about travel, weather, speed, asset volume or creative flexibility.

What theAlchemy changed

The route.

Instead of a static library, the buyer starts with their pressure and the system surfaces the most relevant evidence.

02 / theAlchemy intelligence layer

Proof becomes useful when
it has structure underneath it.

We take what is normally trapped inside decks, project notes and team memory and turn it into an intelligence model that can drive a website, sales tool, campaign route or live conversation.

01 / ObserveBuyer pressureWhat are they actually trying to make easier, safer, faster or more defensible?
02 / StructureProject evidenceBrand, budget, asset type, problem, talent, time and SilverScape technology.
03 / DecodeProof needCost, carbon, speed, risk, asset volume, creative freedom.
04 / MatchRelevant caseSurface the evidence that feels closest to the brief.
05 / ActivateBuyer routeWebsite → proof → sales asset → next conversation.
06 / LearnReuse the signalThe questions buyers ask become intelligence for the next message and route.
The website is the surface. The structure underneath is what makes the proof reusable.
03 / See it work

Start with the pressure.
Then show the proof.

This is a compact version of the logic we built for SilverScape. Choose what matters most, then tell the system what you are creating. The story and the proof change together.

What are you trying to solve?

04 / The evidence behind the system

We are not inventing proof.
We are making existing proof work harder.

SilverScape’s project material already contains the commercial story. theAlchemy structures it so the right parts can surface at the right moment.

05 / Not just a case-study page

We built the machinery
behind the proof.

The team builder and buyer finder are two sides of the same system. Internally, the team structures the project once. Externally, the buyer only sees the questions and proof relevant to them.

What this proves about theAlchemy

We do not just create the asset.
We build the intelligence that makes the asset useful.

In Ren, that intelligence connected human context to product, campaigns and conversation. In SilverScape, it connects buyer pressure to evidence, case studies and sales momentum. Different market. Same discipline.
